Primary
Today is the primary in Ohio, so I need to go vote after work. Going to vote as a Democrat, as there is no point in trying to vote in the Republican primary - luckily, Huckabee took himself out of the race.
I wasn’t sure which candidate suited me, though, so I went to http://www.select2008.com/vote to try to help me make my decision because, from reading different articles, I seemed to be partly in agreement with each candidate. I usually vote for an independent, so I’m hoping there are some strong candidates this year. Anyway, I only got so far before I knew I needed to start working for the day. I ended with 56% agreement with Obama/40% with Clinton.
I don’t necessarily promote letting a machine tell you who to vote for, but it is beneficial when you’re on the fence. I remember during the last election I think I had agreed 92% of the time with Cobb and Nader, so I think these can be fairly accurate. If you need a little help, take some time out to see who you’re leaning towards. Why not!
